I still can’t believe that over a million people voted for bumbling Boris Johnson, and that he is now mayor of London.
Actually I can believe it. There are so many posh twits in London who would have voted for him. And also people who are too young to appreciate the full horror of a Conservative government. What a [...]

Vote Match
Check out this website if you live in London – it’s supposed to help you decide who to vote for in the forthcoming elections.
I’ve just taken the test myself and this is what I discovered …
Mayoral Elections
My views were apparently most similar to Ken Livingstone and Sîan Berry of the Greens, closely followed by Lindsey German of the Left List. [...]

Sunset over Stratford
The sky was blood red, with large splashes of yellow; the photos don’t do it justice.

2. “Pull your trousers up! You’re waddling like a duck and look completely ridiculous”.**
3. “Close your legs, mister! Yes, you! I know you think you’ve got an enormous [...]

WC1
I’ve finally worked out how to include photos in my posts without them being absolutely huge, or tiny and distorted … hence the sudden appearance of pictures on my blog.
Above is a particularly fine example of my photographic skills – a picture of some luxury toilets in Oxford Street.
What makes them so luxurious? Well, I’ve [...]
