Happy New Year!

Here are my New Year resolutions, all ‘SMART’, of course – I’m a speech therapist, after all.
 1. Eat five portions of fruit and vegetables every day.
Easy enough, I think - I’ve already had two today!
2. No longer take any plastic carrier bags from shops.

Pretend poo

My five year nephew (H.) got lots of nice (and some expensive) presents for Christmas.  These included a train set, various games and activities involving dinosaurs, and several cuddly toys.  However, his favourite present was the cheapest of the lot: a “pretend poo” (his words) in his stocking from Santa.

Foggy Stratford

Just back from meeting my friend I. for a coffee and some chocolate cake, before she heads home to Sri Lanka for the holidays.  It’s a bit of a pre-Christmas tradition and it was great to see her.  We also walked around Stratford in the fog and took these photos …

Oh Bugger

I’ve just realised that tomorrow (or rather today) is 22nd December.  I am busy on Sunday and am heading down to the South Coast to see my folks on Monday morning … which means I only have tomorrow to do my Christmas shopping!  Eeek!
