Oh Bugger
I’ve just realised that tomorrow (or rather today) is 22nd December. I am busy on Sunday and am heading down to the South Coast to see my folks on Monday morning … which means I only have tomorrow to do my Christmas shopping! Eeek!
Five minutes ago it was the beginning of December and I had all the time in the world … and now, in only a few hours’ time, I am going to have to do battle with half the population of the world in Oxford Street or some other ridiculously busy shopping centre. How did I let this happen, AGAIN? Will I ever learn?

D’oh! You know, the only reason I have most of my gifts is because I ordered the majority online - in Glasgow even the beginning of December has hoards of folk pushing and fighting their way through the department stores. I love xmas, but I hate having to try to find gifts at the same time as everyone else in the damn city. And there’s no way I’m organised enough to be xmas shopping in advance! Good luck!!!

Without the internetweb I’d be absolutely shafted. We went in to town this morning where I bought chocolates, wrapping paper, cards and a few trinkets for Daughter to go with her big present. We were back in the house within one hour. How cool is that?
Just got to wash the car and buy some stuff for tea tonight now.

Princesse, Brennig: well done for being organised. And I can confirm that Oxford Street *was* a total nightmare!

Eek, like Princesse, I did most of my shopping online so quite organised. However, I did venture into Glasgow yesterday to have lunch with my aunt and it was a complete nightmare! Got a couple of new bruises on my legs from squeezing my way through the crowds and getting bashed by people’s enormous shopping bags!

I’ve done it all SG. I’m sitting back in front of the fire with my feet up, glass in hand, Bing playing softly in the background.
Have a happy and peaceful Christmas.

Mya/ Zannie: Hope you both have a fab and relaxing Christmas! A glass and some Christmas music sounds like a pretty good idea right now…
