Big purple ball
I bought this last weekend, in the vain hope it would help tone my not-very-toned stomach.
Unfortunately there was no instruction leaflet with it … and sitting on it watching Coronation Street and eating biscuits doesn’t seem to be having the desired effect.
Any suggestions?

Miss Despina replied:
It doesn’t match your lovely interior. I’d get rid of it.
Biscuits have healing properties, we all know this.
Hope this advice helps.

Try sitting on it watching Coronation St without eating the biscuits. P.s. thanks for Northern Rock links, will you be my financial mentor?

Try eating it - you won’t feel like any biscuits for a while and you’ll still be able to watch Corrie in hospital.

Dudette!
You have nice-looking carpet.
And a comfy-looking couch.
And a decent-looking table.
But you don’t have… a big purple ball, it looks blue to me. And all talk of ‘blue balls’ is strictly forbidden.
Unless it’s not blue but a trick of the light. But purple balls? Sounds way more painful than blue ones.
I’d stick in a cupboard under the stairs and see what happens to it in… ooooh… five or six months?

Thanks for the advice, guys
Brennig: Believe me, a beige-coloured carpet is a VERY BAD IDEA. Amazingly it doesn’t look too bad in the photo, but in reality it needs a bloody good clean.

Beige coloured carpets suck! So, why is it, all rented accomodation that I’ve lived in have beige coloured carpets?? The place we’re living in now has a carpet which even when vacuumed looks as though a party happy hippos has trampled through.
Traumatised of Tunbridge Wells (aka Soph:))
PS - Biscuits - good. Big purple ball - bizarro.

Thanks for the link to my blog in your blogroll (I wonder how you’ve found it though?)
Funny to see your picture, quite a shock even, I happened to have a carpet the same colour, a couch the same colour and a table looking very much like yours, a few years ago (in my flat) ! It felt like I went back in time…
If you add a handle on the top of your ball, you can make it a skippy ball :p

Hi Tippie,
SG
Thanks for stopping by… how weird that you had the same decor as me… you didn’t live in a rabbit hutch in Stratford by any chance?

I think you should add a couple of “ears” on it and jump around on it, pretending to own a retro space hopper. That would not only be ultra cool, but would probably be quite good exercise too!

These balls are great. I have one and I follow the “home” work out in this book, which features the ball. I don’t bother with the diet recommended in the book, but it’s a good all round work-out that gives fairly quick results,.

We too have the same coloured carpet in our old farmhouse high up in the Kentish North Downs!
