One last moan (sorry!)

Right.  This is the last time I complain about TalkTalk on this blog.  After this, no more.  I promise.

Called BT.  Gonna cost £125 to switch back to them due to the technology that the TalkTalk use not being the same as BT’s.

Will take 10 working days to switch.

Only then can I request Broadband from Waitrose (or whoever else I may choose).

This means, in total, two and half months without proper internet access.

Decided to call TalkTalk again in a last-ditch attempt to sort the situation out.

Again spoke to someone very nice but completely useless.  The modem is on its way apparently and will be with me in 4 working days. 

Ha bloody ha.

How many times have they said this already?

AAAARRRGHGGHHGHGHGHGHGH!!!!!!!

    Oh dear, poor SG. It won’t help you, but I have just come across someone with a similar problem, but in France.     It just so happens that she is having problems with her ISP…

    At the end of last year my internet packed up,so the same as you rang talktalk to tell them that the modem was u.s.spoke to some one abroad who told me i needed a new disc?this was delievered in feb of this year,so no internet for 2 months.Gave it ago and guess what,yep nothing happened.Rang again,now really pissed off and someone told me i needed a new modem,surprise surprise.By this time it was to late so told them to cancell my phone and internet,i was going back to BT!then the bills started to come,line bills which after many phone calls got sorted,by the way the amount of threatening calls we had,had my wife in tears!
    So thinking by july it was atlast sorted,we had another bill for the disconnection of the internet?again rang and was told this time that the bill was for ending the contract early.
    I was with this company for over 2 years,the contract is for 12 months so at any time i could have left,but because a cd disc was sent out in the beginning of all this THEY put me on a new contract without telling me or me signing any papperwork!
    I told them that because of this that there was no way i was going to pay them the £70.
    Guess what today had a baliff letter so i had to pay,but talktalk and the carphone warehouse will not be getting any more of my money and will endever to tell as many other people as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yes, TalkTalk really are rubbish, aren’t they?! I totally sympathise with your situation. For me, it has been a complete nightmare - and they really, really don’t give a stuff. Since I wrote this post, there have been further developments with my own situation. Perhaps I’ll blog about it another time, but for the moment I am so fed up with TalkTalk and all the hassle it has been.
    There is another website that you can visit: talktalkhell.wordpress.com. It’s a kind of support forum for people who have been through the TalkTalk nightmare!!
    Hope your situation gets sorted!
